The Randall Zwarte' Band is currently on the road supporting their newest CD "Blow the Clown",
which was released in the summer of 2009. The first single, "Hard to Let You Go" is now available on Itunes
along with their other eight CD's.
Brian Bolton of iTunes/Apple Inc. recently stated "The Randall Zwarte' Band is a flat-out phenomenom
with over a few hundred thousand electronic downloads in '09! Your radio station will outdo your
competitor by adding the single Lazy Woman from the new Blow the Clown CD!"
The band has put on some major miles over the years, in fact enough miles to encircle the planet over
50 times. After writing the anthem to the largest bike rally in the world, the song "Sturgis",
they have enjoyed enormous popularity at many of the largest rallies/festivals in the nation including
Sturgis, Daytona Beach, Laconia, and Arizona Bike Week.
Randall Zwarte' is originally from Madison South Dakota and is the 5th of thirteen siblings. He started
his first band at the age of 13, when he began writing his own music. As he didn't have the usual
teen angst issues such as drug abuse, divorced parents, or other traumatic experiences, his music
isn't full of sniveling, poor me lyrics, but rather has somewhat of a friendly story-telling angle to
it that many people can relate to.
Edmund Filarecki hails from Buffalo, New York and has been playing in the band for numerous years
and has his own cult following. "Edd-ie, Edd-ie" can be heard by chanting fans at every show.
He is an extremely accomplished guitar player and supports the orchestration of the band.
Bruce Knapp, drummer of the band is originally from Cook, Nebraska, fifteen miles from Larry the
Cable Guy's home town (and at times Bruce is nearly as funny as Larry). Bruce is one of the most
ferocious singers ever to be recorded, in the vein of Nazareth, AC/DC, and Soundgarden.
Ronnie Paul, originally from Hastings Nebraska has always been one of the most sought after bass
players in the Midwest. He is a death-metal fanatic and has an intense stage presence. He is the
solid rhythm backbone of the band.
The fans have elevated the band into their current stage of success, due to the hundreds of
thousands of digital downloads both on electric jukebox downloads as well as on iTunes.
Their strongest suit, however, is their live show. Their music has been described as Tom Petty
with an edge, and they deliver an intense, heart thumping performance with extremely unique lead
vocals.
